You already have the expertise. This is the business that carries it.

Most business advice tells you what to do. It rarely tells you what to do first, and it almost never makes you write anything down.

So the plan stays in your head, where it cannot be checked, finished, or handed to anybody.

Who it is for

Coaches, consultants, therapists, trainers, facilitators, creators, freelancers, advisers, speakers, authors, designers. Anyone whose business is currently one person, whether you are starting from nothing or already earning and building without a plan.

What is inside

  1. Position. The sentence, and the people it is for.
  2. Your AI Assistant. How to brief it, and how to read what it gives you as an editor.
  3. Your Stack. How to choose each layer, plus a tool directory with the trade-offs.
  4. Your Lead Magnet. What it is, why it must be interactive, and what to build.
  5. Tracking and Data. What to track, why, and what the numbers tell you.
  6. Newsletter, Social, Website. One piece of writing, three places, no burnout.
  7. The List You Own. The five doors people arrive through, and the five numbers that matter.
  8. Your Offer Ladder. Free, small, supported, direct, and the price gaps between them.
  9. The Money Layer. Fixed and variable costs, assets against expenses, break-even, pricing.
  10. Selling and Sustaining. The sales conversation, client operations, and staying in business.

Plus a 90-day build order and a one-page plan at the end.

What you get

  • 57-page workbook, 87 fill-in exercises, ten parts

  • A tool directory covering website, email, payment, tracking, data and AI, with trade-offs rather than a shopping list
  • A 90-day build order, so you know what comes first
  • One page at the end that holds your whole plan

About

I am Betty E. I built this practice on my own: more than twenty interactive tools, a newsletter, an email list, a payment system, and a product ladder. This workbook is the record of what that took, in the order I would do it again, including the parts that did not work.

Frequently asked questions

  1. Can I type into it, or do I have to print it? Either, from the same file. To type and save, open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free, on a computer. Some phone readers let you type but will not save what you typed. If you would rather write by hand, print it: the pages are set for A4 and the writing lines are ruled for handwriting.
  2. Do I need to be technical? No. Nothing in the book requires code. Part 2 shows you how to get an AI assistant to do the technical drafting, and Part 3 tells you what to choose rather than assuming you already know.
  3. Do I need a business already? No. If you have expertise and no business yet, you start at part one. If you are already earning, you will find the gaps faster.
  4. Will it tell me exactly which tools to buy? It gives you the options at each layer and what each one costs you in switching, ownership and time, so the decision is yours and the book does not go out of date. Prices are deliberately left out for the same reason.
  5. Is this about coaching? No. It is about the business around whatever you do.
